Situated in the Noosa hinterland, Boreen Point Campground is a short 20-minute drive from Tewantin town centre and 30 minutes to Noosa Heads. Camping in natural bushland on the shore of Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake on the Noosa River. Whether you’re kayaking through the everglades, fishing, sailing, swimming or stand up paddleboarding, Lake Cootharaba has been a popular destination for more than 70 years. There are a limited number of powered sites and a wide variety of unpowered sites including lakefront sites are available. Ice is sold on site, campfires are permitted in suitable fire pits (weather conditions permitting), and dogs are also welcome in caravans and motorhomes. The sites are quite Large, so perfect for groups to be next to each other and share communal gazebos etc. Loads of room for kids to roam. Lots to do. Short walk to a coffee shop and the pub for a cheeky meal etc Facilities are new, showers are warm with good pressure.
